Dr Brett Schiffman is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder conditions. He earned his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Washington. He furthered his training with a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the Curtis National Hand Center.
Dr Schiffman has advanced training in complex fractures, work and sports-related injuries, degenerative conditions, and nerve and vascular conditions. His commitment to the field is reflected in his published research on topics such as complex elbow trauma and bone healing.
Outside of medicine, Dr Schiffman enjoys spending time with his son, traveling, cooking and cheering on Chicago sports teams.
