The Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery, a leader in outpatient surgical care, is pleased to welcome John Pomponi, DO, FAAHKS to the medical staff. Dr. Pomponi is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon who will be joining The Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery from Franciscan Health. He received his doctorate from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Pomponi completed his internship at McLaren Oakland Medical Center and fulfilled her residency at McLaren Oakland/Michigan State University. During his time at McLaren Oakland, Dr. Pomponi served as Orthopaedic Chief Resident.
Dr. Pomponi provides care for injuries and disorders of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, and ankle. He utilizes advanced techniques in minimally invasive surgery to treat these disorders.
Dr. Pomponi is an avid golfer and resides in Munster, along with his wife and young children. He is happy to be treating patients within his own community.
